Enjoyment! (A few things to make me smile)

I finally got my R4 card! I’m quite excited about it. I got 14 new games to play today! I’m going to have so much to play!! Also now I can try those Japanese games that I have no idea what the instructions are. I can’t wanted to customize my R4’s look too. I have a pretty good idea for a theme for it. It’s going to be all pixelly and stuff.

Today I hung around in GameStop for a few hours while Jill was working. I got to try Super Mario Galaxy. It was, like pretty much all Mario games, enjoyable. I just picked it up and started playing; I didn’t even have to try to figure out the controls. If you like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, you’d like Galaxy. You probably already knew that though. :)

I also played a Guitar Hero III demo. The new guitar, I have to admit, is quite comfortable. I wasn’t expecting to feel much difference, but it is there.

I know what I want to do now. I want to have a review section, or possibly even a review website if Bradley is interested.

Tomorrow, or later today rather, I’m going to help set up Bradley’s Halloween party. I was going to go to the fair, but I forgot I said I’d help with the party. Jill is suppose to pick me up a costume after she goes to the fair. I’m either gonna be Alice from Alice in Wonderland, an Amy Brown fairy, a Geisha girl, or a kitty girl. I guess I’ll have to wait to see what I’m gonna be tomorrow.

I’ve been downloading wordpress plugins like all day. I think I have a downloading obsession when it comes to plugins, widgets, scripts, and fonts. I can spend hours just downloading such things. Half of the things I download are even useless! I just feel the need to try them. Sometimes I wonder if I should go into web development instead of biology. I’d love to be able to write awesome php scripts.

I installed six out of the many plugins I downloaded today: Flickr Photo Gallery, Audio Player, DDeviantart (which the images didn’t seem to work), Maintenance-Mode, Thumbnails Manager, and Democracy. I spent awhile deciding whether I wanted to go with FAlbum of Flickr Photo Gallery. I decided to go with Flickr Photo Gallery for a few reasons. One reason being is that I’ve used it before. Two being I like lot of the features it has. When I installed it I did have a problem with it, but I just added a line of code and it worked fine. I still want to edit the look of it, but I’ll wait until I work on the theme to do that.

Speaking of the Flickr Photo Gallery, I found some interesting things on the TanTanNoodles website. There is actually a lolcat translation of the bible!!

In teh land of Uz wuz a man calded Job. Teh man wuz goodz, afraid of teh Ceiling Cat and evilz.2 Teh man hadz seven sunz and tree doters,3 And lots of sheepz and camlez and rinoceruseses and servnts, srsly.4 His sunz tok turns mading cookies, and they all eated them.5 And Job wuz liek “Oh noes! Wut if cookies were sin? Gota prey, just in cased

L-M-A-O!!!!!!! Also I found this really neat little song on tantannoodles.com.

I have so much I want to do! I feel like I’ll never get to a point to were I can relax and work at ease. Here is a little “to do list”:

  • Make a wordpress theme for Bradley
  • Write up some content for about and website information
  • Make content for visitors
  • Make myself a wordpress theme
  • Edit Flickr Gallery style
  • Edit Now Reading library
  • Make a new myspace layout
  • Make a new journal layout
  • Make a gaiaonline profile for myself
  • Install more plugins

Crappy Vector

I’ve always wanted to learn to vector awesome pictures. I’ve admired the style for as long as when my internet dwelling started. I finally decide to try to make a real vector image. I’ve been working on this project for about three hours. When I thought I was finally able to color it, I realized that I had screwed up. Not all of my paths were closed. In fact, not many of them were properly closed. With the paths not closed I can not color it. Could I go back and close them? I don’t really know, but if I could, it’d take probably just as long as it did for me to outline it. Oh well, trial and error. I just have to learn from my mistakes. What I learned:

  1. When new to a program, start with a simple project.
  2. Use a good quality picture when vectoring.
  3. CLOSE ALL PATHS for christ’s sake!!

The image I used was a picture of me in my new hoodie that came in today.

Putting the emo in democracy?

Monday, October 8th, 2007

I don’t know why I had to take a politics class. I didn’t have to take it, I just assumed the politics would be more useful than another history class. Both subjects strike me a boring. I’m taking comparative politics online so I’m really finding it hard to not procrastinate. Instead of writing my essay, which is already late, comparing the gorvernment of the United States to either England, France, or Germany’s government I’ve been looking at Lemon Demon flash videos.

I don’t see why its required I take a crappy history or politics when I’m going for a biology major. It’s just more useless knowledge I will not use in my career. I think colleges just require a bunch of bullshit classes so they can get more money from students. Luckily for me I’m going to college for free.

Ugh, my stomach hurts. I feel like I’m gonna puke out crab cakes. I really need to stop eating them when my mom makes them. I get sick everytime she does. I don’t feel like thinking and I don’t wanna puke on my politics book, so I’m going to go play some Super Mario Sunshine.

Democracy

Hello world!

It feels so nice to have a new domain name! I feel like I have a new fresh start. I’ll probably use the default layout for a little bit, just so I can build up content and posts first. I have a lot of plugins to reinstall.

Anyways, in the mean time, my old website is still up: zombie.nuoriffic.com
